Robert's Story

Robert L. Dixon Jr.

Robert L. Dixon Jr.

Founder

A2I Youth Diversion Program

Robert's impact on the mindsets of juveniles and young adults who lack vision or purpose in their lives is credibly inspiring and remarkable.

He became a ward of the Alameda County Juvenile Court system at twelve years old and is a formerly incarcerated Long-Term Offender (LTO), having served and survived thirty-six years in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDC&R).

Released from prison in 2019, Robert has been transformed into a Christian, husband, brother, family member, friend, entrepreneur, and mentor. A2I was created while he was still serving his sentence — launched as a 501(c)(3) on October 29, 2024.

"His living amends is in serving God and giving back to others for the rest of his life."

A2I is built on lived experience, accountability, compassion, and a genuine belief that every young man deserves a second chance.
